Guide
How much does a website cost in Kenya?
At Elekeza Digital, a custom-coded website starts at KES 25,000 for three to five pages, and at KES 45,000 for a five-page site you edit yourself that takes Pesapal or Paystack payments. Booking platforms and web applications are priced after a scoping call.

The short answer
These are our published starting prices, in Kenyan Shillings. Every tier is written by hand, mobile responsive, and handed over to you at launch.
- Starter, from KES 25,000. A credible presence online and nothing more. Built for solo professionals, small shops and new businesses. Includes: three to five pages: Home, About, Services, Contact; mobile responsive; contact form built in; content updates handled by us.
- Business, from KES 45,000. For established businesses that update often and want to take bookings or deposits online. Includes: five pages; edit your own text, images and posts; one Pesapal or Paystack payment flow; analytics and basic on-page SEO.
- Custom, priced after a scoping call. For work closer to a web application than a website: multi-branch businesses and booking platforms. Includes: multiple user roles; several payment flows; custom database logic; integrations beyond payments.
What moves the price
How many pages you need
A Starter site has three to five pages, usually Home, About, Services and Contact. A Business site has five, and each extra page is KES 3,000.
Who updates the site
On the Starter tier, content updates are handled by us. On the Business tier, you edit your own text, images and posts.
Whether it takes payments
The Business tier includes one Pesapal or Paystack payment flow, for bookings or deposits. A second payment flow is KES 10,000, and Custom builds can have several.
Extra features
On the Business tier, each of these is an add-on at KES 10,000:
- Custom admin dashboard
- Second payment flow
- Product or service catalog
- WhatsApp order notifications
- Multiple staff logins
- Professional copywriting
- Multi-language support
Work closer to an application than a website
Multiple user roles, several payment flows, custom database logic, and integrations beyond payments are Custom work. Multi-branch businesses and booking platforms usually sit here, and the price comes after a scoping call.
Template, page builder or custom-coded?
Many websites are built on WordPress themes or page builders. We do not use them, on any tier. A hand-coded site only carries what it needs, so it loads quickly on a phone with patchy data. There is no theme licence to renew and no builder subscription, and you get the code and design files at launch. Our prices start where template shops start.
How to get an accurate quote
A quote is only as good as the brief behind it. Tell us:
- What your business or organisation does.
- The pages you think you need.
- Whether you want to edit the site yourself or take payments.
- When you need it live.
Send that through the quote form, or call or WhatsApp 0757 770 889. We reply within one working day with questions or a written quote that lists exactly what is included. You can also see every tier side by side on website design in Nairobi, or the full price list.
